Description

Purchased by the Besson Family in 1925 and farmed by them ever since. 

The vineyard is effectively 100% Zinfandel.  There are perhaps 40 colossal Mission vines interplanted among the Zinfandel but those grapes are not used for the Birichino Saint-Georges Zinfandel. As with the Grenache, there are some replacement vines but the vineyard is mostly the original plantation.
