Description

Planted by Angelo Puccioni, who was born near the town of Lucca, Italy in 1870. The two-acre Old Block was planted in 1904 on St. George rootstock. Dry-farmed and head-trained, the Old Block was farmed with a mule and plow until 1968. Selections from the Puccioni Zinfandel Clone have been taken to the Heritage Vineyard in Napa.
