The vineyard is 860 vines total. About 160 vines are old vine Carignane and 700 are old vine Zinfandel. The vineyard was purchased by winemaker Chris Russi in 2004 and he personally manages the vineyard.

All head-trained old vine Zinfandel and Carignane planted on the valley floor in deep sandy alluvial soil.
Chris replanted 220 vines to Ulises Valdez’s St. Peter’s Church clone in 2018.
