- Description
-
The Old Patch vines are the oldest vines that Ridge farms; they were planted by A. Boutin, a colleague of Luther Burbank, who named his estate Heart’s Desire. Ridge’s Heritage zinfandel selection from this block is appropriately named Heart’s Desire. Ridge has made wine from these grapes every year since 1966; the Old Patch and Old Carignane blocks are the heart and soul of our Geyserville bottling.
